A coalition of small business organizations and labor unions have united to sue the Department of Homeland Security, alleging that DHS has not considered the impact on small enterprises of new immigration restrictions.  Cindy Skrzycki writes in "The Regulators" section of the Washington Post that business owners would lose up to $100 million as a result of new worker ID requirements.

The FBI is still vulnerable to significant security breaches, according to an article by Dan Eggen in the Washington Post.   Not surprisingly, agents in the employ of foreign governments tend to behave erratically, but the FBI has not set up a system for employee reporting that would catch this behavior.  Glenn Fine, Inspector General at the Justice Department, has called for a central repository on FBI employee behavior.  The two most recent major spies at the FBI, Leandro Aragoncillo and Robert Hanssen, might have been caught more quickly if such a system had been in place.
